HOME HEALTH

RN, Full-Time 

RN, Per Diem

Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients according to the physician’s orders and directs Licensed Practical Nurse, Home Health Aides, and support staff in quality patient care. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care and nursing care plans for each patient. As the Case Manager, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination of services and treatment including patient/family teaching.

Nurse Director, FT, Salaried, 40 hours per week. The manager is responsible to develop and direct all  operations of home care services. The manager assures the quality, continuity and delivery of services and is responsible for implementation and administering the goals and policies of the service program. The manager is accountable for optimum performance through supervision of day‑to‑day operations. The manager will conduct home‑care patient nursing visits as the primary provider as well as for supervision of other staff. Will meet the standards of the Home Health Service RN job description.

NURSING

ED Manager, Full-time, salaried. Registered Nurse; Bachelor’s degree preferred or willing to obtain. EMT-P or Paramedic licensed by start date. Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical and/or emergency department experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities. Management experience preferred.

OR Director, Full-Time, salaried. Registered Nurse; Bachelors’s degree preferred or willing to obtain. Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical and/or emergency department experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities. Management experience preferred.

Registered Nurse:

Part-time, ED, 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Includes weekends and holidays.

Part-time, ED, 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Includes weekends and holidays.

Full-time, ED, 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Includes weekends and holidays.

Full-time, IPCU, 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 36 hours per week. Includes weekends and holidays.

QUALITY

Infection Control/Employee Health Nurse, Part-time, 20 hours per week. Salaried position. The Infection Control/Employee Health Nurse (LPN or RN) coordinates all infection prevention, surveillance and control activities in the healthcare setting. The Infection Preventionist evaluates quality of patient care and patient outcomes as they relate to healthcare-associated infections; collects, prepares, and analyzes healthcare-associated infection data; presents infection data and makes recommendations for actions/ monitors employee compliance of barriers and infection prevention measures; prepares and presents educational offerings for the staff RN or LPN with knowledge of disease. Completion of a basic training program for Infection Prevention within one year and certification in Infection Prevention is desired within 3 years.                  

RESPIRATORY CARE 

Respiratory Therapist, Full-time, Days, 36 hours per week. A Respiratory Care Therapist, currently certified or eligible to sit for the RRT exam offered by the NBRC within one year of start of the position. Performs routine and advance respiratory care procedures according to CRH policies and procedures. Maintains equipment for efficient administration of therapy.  Understands advanced knowledge of respiratory anatomy and physiology and has a thorough knowledge of medications used in respiratory care. Must have graduated from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care for the Advance Practitioners and be eligible for the entry level exam (CRTT) and the advanced practitioners (RRT) exam offered by NBRC.  Must be eligible licensed or eligible for a temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner’s License for the State of Maine.  Requires knowledge and the ability to perform Advance Level of Respiratory Care procedures.
