CARDIAC REHAB

CNA, Part-time, 12 Hours a week.Assists with patient care as delegated and supervised by a registered nurse. Responsibilities include: direct patient care, unit environment, resource utilization, public relations and customer service.

CRMS

RN, Per Diem, Provides nursing care to patients. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Medical Assistant, Per Diem. Performs clinical care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with standards. Performs venipunctures. Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients. Provides clinical care and clerical duties within scope of practice. Screen patients for appropriate information. Instructs patients in collection samples and tests. Arranges for referrals and patient testing. Graduate of an approved medical assisting program. CPR certification required.

FOOD SERVICES

Worker, Per Diem, The food services worker is a person trained to perform various duties within the food service department.  Under the direction of the Food Services supervisor.

HOME HEALTH

Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients according to the physician’s orders and directs Licensed Practical Nurse, Home Health Aides, and support staff in quality patient care. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care and nursing care plans for each patient. As the Case Manager, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination of services and treatment including patient/family teaching.

Nurse Director, FT, Salaried, 40 hours per week. The manager is responsible to develop and direct all  operations of home care services. The manager assures the quality, continuity and delivery of services and is responsible for implementation and administering the goals and policies of the service program. The manager is accountable for optimum performance through supervision of day‑to‑day operations. The manager will conduct home‑care patient nursing visits as the primary provider as well as for supervision of other staff. Will meet the standards of the Home Health Service RN job description.

NURSING

ED Manager, Full-time, salaried. Registered Nurse; Bachelor’s degree preferred or willing to obtain. EMT-P or Paramedic licensed by start date. Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical and/or emergency department experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities. Management experience preferred.

OR Director, Full-Time, salaried. Registered Nurse; Bachelors’s degree preferred or willing to obtain. Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical and/or emergency department experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities. Management experience preferred.

Registered Nurse:

Part-time, ED, 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Includes weekends and holidays.

Part-time, ED, 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Includes weekends and holidays.

Full-time, ED, 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Includes weekends and holidays.

Per Diem, Surgery

Ward Clerk, IPCU, Full-time, Day shift, Provides clerical support to the nursing unit. Maintains patient records. Responsibilities may direct patient care, unit environment, resource utilization, public relations and customer service. Must be a registered CNA.

QUALITY

Quality Data Coordinator, Full-time, 40 hours per week. The Quality Data Coordinator is responsible for the collection, evaluation and data entry related to quality, risk management, medical staff and patient safety. Requires a Medical Assistant, LPN, or a person with 2 years of exposure in healthcare or hospital background experience in reviewing and understanding patient medical records and clinical processes. Requires the ability to work independently and cooperatively with physicians and staff in all departments. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Includes taking minutes at various medical meetings. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel                                                

RADIOLOGY

Radiologic Technologist, Full-time. Performs all types of diagnostic and special x-ray procedures, prepares Patient for procedures, maintains and cleans x-ray equipment, does electrocardiograms. Registration as a radiologic technologist; Current State of Maine licensure.  Shares call.

Radiologic Technologist, Full-time, 32 hours, weekends only. Performs all types of diagnostic and special x-ray procedures, prepares. Patient for procedures, maintains and cleans x-ray equipment, does electrocardiograms. Registration as a radiologic technologist; Current State of Maine licensure required.  Shares call.

Sonographer, Full-Time, Day shift. ARDMS registered sonographer. Experience in abdominal, small parts, OB and vascular required, and ability to perform echocardiography. Possibility of call.  

REHABILITATIVE SERVICES

Physical Therapist, Full-time. Completes evaluations, plans and provides quality treatment to patients upon physician referral. Requires a degree in physical therapy from an approved school and a PT license in the State of Maine.

Communications & Registration Representative, Full-time,40 hours per week. The first point of contact for CRH patients responsible for the collection of patient and insurance data, preparing and coordinating admission documentation, communication of hospital polices and insurance requirements and addressing patient questions and needs. Creates an exceptional patient experience by putting the patient first in all interactions and exceeding their expectations. 

RESPIRATORY CARE 

Respiratory Therapist, Full-time, Days, 36 hours per week. A Respiratory Care Therapist, currently certified or eligible to sit for the RRT exam offered by the NBRC within one year of start of the position. Performs routine and advance respiratory care procedures according to CRH policies and procedures. Maintains equipment for efficient administration of therapy.  Understands advanced knowledge of respiratory anatomy and physiology and has a thorough knowledge of medications used in respiratory care. Must have graduated from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care for the Advance Practitioners and be eligible for the entry level exam (CRTT) and the advanced practitioners (RRT) exam offered by NBRC.  Must be eligible licensed or eligible for a temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner’s License for the State of Maine.  Requires knowledge and the ability to perform Advance Level of Respiratory Care procedures.
