WE LOVE LIVING AND WORKING IN DOWN EAST MAINE

Our remote area of rural Northeast Maine is a true hidden gem.   It is an area where you can not only build a career, but make a life centered around the people and activities that matter to you.    We enjoy seasons full of spectacular days that bring with it numerous activities to enjoy such as; beaches to explore, scenic hikes, art and fine craft events, fresh seafood, farmers markets, festivals, skiing of the water and powder variety and much, much more.

Members of small towns recognize and appreciate those that choose to live and work in a rural area.   Especially for those that provide such intimate services as healthcare, there is a great allegiance and admiration for professionals from community members.   Living and working in our close knit community will allow you get to know the patients and staff on a much more personal level – many will become like family.

The cost of living, or how far your dollars can stretch in our area, is typically much better than that of a larger city.   We boast some of the best coastal views and water front property at a fraction of what it would cost in most areas of the country.   We have access to locally grown food through area farms and fishing communities.  Lengthy, congested commutes are traded for scenic drives and fresh air.   What isn’t readily available at many of the family owned local stores is easily accessible in this day and age via e-commerce and delivery.

Come join us and experience it for yourself.  Put down your roots and see what home should feel like.
